An E-Commerce Sales Specialist, is responsible for managing and developing relationships with key accounts in the e-commerce sector. the primary focus will be on driving sales, optimizing product visibility, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution, and maintenance.
  • Provide support in other areas of Media Marketing, SEO, Keyword Research and Google Analytics.
  • Identify SEO best practices .
  • Monitor changes in product sales by using web analytics to stay organized.
  • Monitor key trading tasks such as stock management, fragmentation, and product returns.
  • Liaise closely with Marketing, Sales, and customer service teams to improve efficiencies, and customer experience.
  • Manage new product uploads, category builds, product detail maintenance, and promotional activities.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day coordination of e-Commerce marketplace activities, e.g. product uploads, reporting, organizing stock transfers.
  • Reporting on e-Commerce trade performance including KPls, providing data-driven insight and conducting deep analysis where needed to better understand shopping behaviors and trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key e-commerce accounts.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and align strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and revenue from key accounts.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Address customer inquiries and issues promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and agreements.
  • Participate in the continuous development and improvement of the website to enhance performance and user experience.

 

Job Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field:
  • Proven experience in e-commerce account management or related roles.
  • Knowledgeable of analytical tools for performance measurement, determining improvements and innovations.
  • Proficient in SEO, Google Analytics, and online marketing tools
  • knowledge of how users interact and shop in a digital environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms.
